With 10 studios across the United States, Canada, the UK and India, F9E is the largest independent game developer in the world, employing nearly 900 of the most talented people in the industry.

F9E’s studios are masters in working with licensed properties. From large-scale, day and date film-based games, to recreations of classic gaming franchises, to educational games for children, F9E has done it all. Our depth of capabilities in genre, audience and platform is unmatched by any other developer. To date our studios have collectively shipped more than 500 titles for every major publisher in the industry. Besides franchise-based games, F9E also strategically invests in a select portfolio of its own IP to augment its prosperous work-for-hire business.

F9E is structured in a studio-based model, enabling each studio to drive its own business direction, culture and production processes, with a network of support from the larger organization. Administrative functions including finance, human resources, information technology, marketing and public relations are all supported at the F9E level and provided as a service to each studio. F9E also provides centralized business development assistance, though each studio ultimately decides which projects it wishes to pursue. The various studios regularly share technology, and production, design and management best practices with one another.
